Christopher Rim is the founder and CEO of Command Education, a premier college admissions consultancy headquartered in New York City. Described as the “McKinsey & Co. for 17-year-old clients” in a Bloomberg cover story and named the “nation’s leader in college admissions consulting” by People Magazine, Command Education empowers students to explore their passions and strategically navigate the college application process.

Before founding Command Education in 2015, Christopher worked on inspirED at Meta in partnership with the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. He has served on advisory boards for organizations such as Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and the Singleton Foundation for Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship. A recognized voice in education, he is regularly featured in major media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, The New York Times, US News & World Report, CNBC, and Forbes, where he is a Senior Contributor writing on emotionally intelligent leadership and education.

Christopher earned his Bachelor’s degree from Yale University, where he studied psychology focusing on emotional intelligence. He developed an EQ-driven, near-peer mentoring approach that has helped hundreds of students gain admission to their top-choice schools, with 94% accepted to at least one of their top three choices. His work has earned him recognition on Forbes 30 Under 30, President Obama’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and People Magazine’s “Heroes Among Us.”
